The photographer

Sait Serkan Gürbüz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Bilkent University. He studied photojournalism and received his Master of Arts degree from the Missouri School of Journalism on a Fulbright scholarship. His photographs have appeared in a variety of publications, as well as with agencies, including Reuters, Corbis Images and The Associated Press. His portfolio can be seen here: www.serkangurbuz.com

Serkan enjoys swimming for extended periods of time in the Aegean Sea; if he were to be stranded on a desert island, he would bring his dive mask and fins – in addition to his camera.

Serkan is available for contact at photojournalist@email.com and +1 202 594 1428.
